Health updates to start things off and this week was my next scheduled blood test, which was Monday. The results came in Wednesday, with the PSA now at 0.5, which is another increase. Whilst not what I want to see, not within my control and I have to place my faith in the hands of the Consultant and him monitoring / deciding any next steps; until then, I will carry on as normal.

I managed 2 walks this week, due to being away at the Military Odyssey show for half the week. First one was a very slow 13:21, with the following one dropping to 12:59. As before, it is about keeping this up and allowing for variations with them. The show at the end of the week means lots of time on my feet, which plays on the back pain and overall tiredness, but a necessary part of the book writing side of things.

Sandra had her hospital physio appointment, following her recent op and they were happy with her progress, dropping her to one crutch. She managed more walks and almost daily, is making great advances overall. She did have her first half day back at work, but that tired her out, so she did not do the second planned one. Her mobility is getting really good, and every day is an improvement.

Alanna and our two grandkids were on hand Friday to Monday, to be with Sandra, looking after her and allow me to attend the show. Very grateful and the grandkids done a superb job helping out with little chores.

The rest of my week was focused on the Military Odyssey show, Friday to Sunday (and BH Monday). Great to catch up with a number of you there, face to face. The new book was well received and a load of copies have now gone of to individual collections, as did the other currently available books. Always a great socialising opportunity for existing friends and contacts, plus making new ones.

In summary, a set back with the PSA, Sandra making great progress and a nice end to the week, with meeting up with lots of you.

We appreciate the ongoing support of these weekly ramblings.

Regards

Peter
