My main health situation currently revolves around the lower back pain, exacerbated by two things; 1. Caring for Sandra, 2. Book delivery arriving. I have my physio booked for Monday, so that should help, but we’ll see. Alongside that, I managed to fit in 3 walks this week, with times of 13:03, 13:04 and 13:04.

This is the second week of caring for Sandra and her post-op recovery. Routine is impacted, as is both our sleep patterns and the like. A fair amount of the day is spend ensuring Sandra has what she needs. Her mobility is improving bit by bit and she has begun some short walks outside.

Besides the two ‘main’ situations above, the other big impact this week was the delivery of 4 separate books. They had to be offloaded and both Dan and Alanna interrupted their days to come and help. After offloading, I spent a lot of this week adding the new book to the website and updating the status of the 3 reprints. That was followed by advertising to my usual channels and existing customer base, then fulfilling dozens of orders to customers around the world. That overall situation added to the existing ‘busy’ situation, has added to the impact on my back pain.

My son Karl had a great outcome, regarding his job. He has been studying for the next stage in his mechanic’s career and that culminated in him passing his exam. A superb outcome for him, which gives him more depth to his new life in Cornwall, with his next step already being discussed. For Sandra and I, a very nice outcome and we are very proud of him and please for him.

In summary, this past week has been Sandra and new book focused, so apologies that there is not so much going on with my health situation, but my time is being spent in a good way, looking after my bestie.

Your ongoing interest is welcomed
