The intensity of the past couple of weeks continues to ease over the past week. The objective of the walks and ensuring one full one per week, continues on course, which is good. The first half of the week, where we live, was cold and that could be felt  when doing the first walks. The temperature changed mid-week, which made the remaining ones notably easier. Besides those, the overall health situation is pretty much uneventful. I did suffer some tiredness on Tuesday, with me not doing a lot, but I have to remember what I am living with and ‘allow’ myself some days like that. The back pain was okay and the next physio session is booked for Monday (when you may be reading this).

The three-part book focus continues and varies between order fulfilment for the Witt book (mainly), preparing the files for the foreign language books and also the work on Volume 7. A new aspect got underway too, based on repeated prompts from some of you. That is a one-off book I compiled a number of years back, which document the meetings I had with veterans. Done for myself, but taken to various shows, the preview video accounts for one-third of all views on my Youtube channel; I have begun a serious attempt at a formalised version of this book, for general release, but will see if the concept lives up to my vision, before deciding if it warrants a small print run - to satisfy the demand from some of you.

It was the half-term school holidays over the past week and on Friday, I had an invite to go to the amusement arcades which are around 40 minutes from us, with the grandkids. I took that invite and had a nice couple of hours out of the house and away from the current routine; nice to break up the week that way.

The side line new business venture had its second customer, with my son Karl undertaking a 10-hour round trip to pick up a vintage VW campervan and bring it to Kent for the new owner. A nice task that was completed without issue (bar some slow moving traffic) and another successful mission for KP Recovery.

Sandra and I rounded off the week with a nice trip to a local farm shop, recommended by a work colleague of hers and a worthy trip indeed!

A less ‘action-packed’ week, but one that allowed a bit of focus on other tasks, but less interesting for you readers, me thinks!

Thanks for the unrelenting interest in these Blogs.
